The Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice (CeMAP) is a recognised qualification awarded by the ifs School of Finance.  Registration to the ifs School of Finance is required before commencing training.

The CeMAP qualification is a necessity for anybody providing Mortgage Advice.  CeMAP is a nationally recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification.

CeMAP comprises of three modules.  Modules 1 & 2 have defined learning outcomes designed to give you the knowledge and understanding you require to operate as a Mortgage Advisor.  Module 3 consists of objectivity tested questions and is designed to test your ability to apply the knowledge gained from Modules 1 & 2.  The CeMAP programme covers:

Module 1         UK Financial Regulation
Module 2         Mortgages
Module 3         Assessment of knowledge & understanding

We offer both a one week intensive course which covers Module 1 and a two week intensive course which covers Modules 1, 2 & 3.  The course runs from Monday to Friday and times are 10.00am to 3.30pm.  We don't request any precourse preparation or any additional study in the evenings.

The CeFA qualification is a necessity for anybody providing advice on investment, retirement planning and protection options..  CeFA is a nationally recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification.

CeFA comprises of four modules.  Modules 1, 2 & 3 have defined learning outcomes designed to give you the knowledge and understanding you require to operate as a Financial Advisor.  Module 4 consists of objectivity tested questions and is designed to test your ability to apply the knowledge gained from Modules 1, 2 & 3.  The CeF programme covers:

Module 2         Investments & Risks
Module 3         Retirement Planning & Protection
Module 4         Assessment of Investment Advice knowledge

Our courses are intensive training courses where the course syllabus is taught using proper teaching methods including computer software.  This is complimented by the tutors 15 years experience in the finance industry. His wide experience in the mortgage advice arena allows him to clarify some "dry" subject matters with real life experiences.  This makes for a more interesting course and also aids a fuller understanding of the CeMAP syllabus and mortgage industry.
